SwellFeed text alerts
Program. SwellFeed surf alerts, sign up on the Alerts page. What you get: surf alerts for the spots you choose, sent when swell is coming: a heads-up the night before days that clear your rating threshold, Strike Mission alerts when a tropical storm's swell is forecast to reach breaks within your travel radius, with a confirmation the morning of, and Perfect Waves alerts when the forecast at your spots, in your travel radius or in places you chose to watch matches the wave size, wind and break type you set (at most 3 a week). A daily morning report for your spots is optional and off unless you turn it on.
How often. By default, only when swell is coming, so on many days you'll get none. If you turn on the morning report, one text every morning as well. Up to 3 a day when a storm is active or your perfect conditions line up. Message frequency varies.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Texts are free for a 14-day trial, then $24 a year or $3 a month. We'll ask before charging you anything; if you don't subscribe, texts stop when the trial ends.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You'll get one text confirming you're unsubscribed, and no more after that. Reply START to rejoin.
Help. Reply HELP for help, or email support@swellfeed.com.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SwellFeed for Business and the forecast widget
Free widget. You may show the SwellFeed forecast widget on your website as provided, with its SwellFeed credit and links intact. We may change it or stop offering it.
Branded plans. Branded and Business plans are month to month at the price we agree with you by email, and you can cancel any time; we'll confirm the details before charging anything. You're responsible for the logo, name and links you give us.
Not for safety decisions. The widget shows the same computer forecasts as SwellFeed (see below). Don't use it alone to decide whether lessons, rentals or anyone's time in the water is safe.
Links to other sites
Links to places to stay and flights go to other companies, whose terms apply. Some are affiliate links: if you book, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Forecasts and safety
Ratings, sizes, times, travel estimates and prices are computer forecasts and estimates. They can be wrong, and conditions change fast. Surf, rip currents and storm swell are dangerous: check conditions yourself, surf within your ability and follow lifeguards and official warnings. SwellFeed is provided as is, without warranties, and isn't responsible for decisions you make based on it.
