El Médano surf and kitesurf is an SE-facing beach break in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It picks up swell from NE to ENE and S to WSW, and land, islands, reefs or shallow banks block about 55% of the directions it faces. Offshore wind here blows from the NW: light winds or NW breezes usually mean the cleanest surf, while SE onshores chop it up.
